Tips for calling to the Philippines

• When dialing to a number in the Philippines, you do not need to dial a 0 between the country code and the city code. For example, if you need to call to Manila, you would dial 011 + 63 + 2 + Phone Number.
• When dialing to a mobile phone in the Philippines, you do not need a city code. Mobile phone numbers start with a 9. So if you are calling to a mobile phone in the Philippines, dial 011 + 63 + 9(and the remaining digits in the phone number).

Feedback from Customers Calling to the Philippines

Here are a couple experiences I've had with customers calling to the Philippines:

Just recently, I had a customer who was having difficulties reaching a mobile phone in the Philippines.  We kept getting a message that the call could not be completed as dialed, even though he knew that the number was correct.  It took a little researching on my part, but I was able to find out that you do not need a city code when dialing to the Philippines.  Cell phone numbers in the Philippines begin with a 9 and do not need a city code between the country code and phone number.  Once we figured this out, he was able to use his phone card with no trouble.
