Tips for using your phone card from internet and VoIP phones
July 7, 2008 - 7:01am — aimeeHow can I keep my ZapTel phone cards organized?
Some customers have only one or two phone cards in their dashboard to keep track of. But others like me have many cards which can sometimes be difficult to keep track of which PIN belongs to which person. I have phone cards that I maintain for myself, my parents, my aunt, other family members, work, etc. My ZapTel dashboard helps me keep track of these so I always know when I log into my account, I can find what I need (i.e. balances, call details, recharges, etc.).
Here are the 2 tools I use in my dashboard to keep it organized and tidy:
Phone Card Labels
When you log into your ZapTel account, you will see a list of the phone cards you've purchased. Next to the name of the card is a little tag with a plus sign (+) next to it. When you move your mouse over this tag, it says "Label this card." When you click on it, a text box comes up where you can type in a label for your card. This is where I type in "Mom & Dad" or "My Work Card" to help keep my cards in order.
Customize My Dashboard
There are some phone cards in my account that I don't use any more. There's no way for us to delete them, but I can hide the ones I don't want to see by customizing my dashboard.
-
When logged into your ZapTel account, click on "Customize My Dashboard."
-
Initially, the last two cards you've purchased will be automatically put on your custom dashboard. You can always remove them by clicking the red minus sign (-) at the top of your card.
-
To add other cards, click on the link with the green + sign that says Show Other Cards.
-
Click on the green + sign next to the card or cards you'd like to add to your custom dashboard, and they'll be added.
