Skip entering your phone card PIN with PINless dialing

February 17th, 2014

“Is there any way I can skip entering my phone card PIN when I make international calls?”

Most phone cards have a ten-digit PIN that you need to dial after the access number.  Choosing a phone card with PINless dialing can help you save a few keystrokes and get your call easily underway.

How PINzap™ Pinless Dialing Works

When you register your PIN with your phone card’s PINzap™ Pinless dialing, the network works like a caller ID.  When you dial the access number, it recognizes the phone number you’re calling from, looks for the PIN it’s associated with, and accesses your PIN.  It will prompt you through the rest of the dialing prompts after that.

How to set up your PINzap™ PINless Dialing

  1. Log on to your ZapTel account.
  2. Under PIN Actions, click the link for PINzap™ Pinless Dialing.
  3. Click the “Click to register a new phone number” link.
  4. Enter the 10-digit phone number you’d like to add PINzap™ to for your PIN and press the Add button.
  5. Dial the access number to access your PIN without entering it.

You can add up to 10 phone numbers to your phone card’s PINzap™.
