Receive your phone card by e-mail, not snail mail

“How will I get my ZapTel phone card?”

This is a question we hear weekly in Customer Service.  ZapTel will deliver your virtual phone card by e-mail.  You will not receive anything by regular mail.

Once you receive the e-mail with your calling details, you’re ready to use your phone card.  If you’d like a hard copy of your phone card, you can either print out the confirmation e-mail with the calling details, or log on to your ZapTel account and click on the Print-N-Go link next to your PIN.

If you’re purchasing from ZapTel for the first time, your order may need to be reviewed by Customer Service.  Because the phone cards ZapTel sells are virtual, we have to take additional precautions when completing orders.  Like other companies that sell a virtual product, we happen to be a target for people to try and use credit cards on our site that have not been authorized for use by the card holder.  Because of this, some orders may be held for manual review by our Customer Service staff to make sure that the person paying the credit card bill is the person placing the order.

If your order is being held for manual review, you’ll be contacted by ZapTel’s Customer Service Department.  Once we’ve  verified that the purchase has  been placed by the credit card holder, we will complete the purchase and you’ll receive your phone card by e-mail.

We find that this process is necessary to protect both you as our customers and us as a company.  We hope customers aren’t put off by our review process and understand that we’re looking out for their best interests.  We just want to make sure that the order is authorized by the card holder.  If it’s not, we take the appropriate action to report the issue so that no further purchases are placed without authorization.
